Wholesome Kids Catering enriches the lives of over 40,000 children each day! We enrich lives by providing kids in child care, schools and camps the nutrition and variety they need to eat, grow and thrive. Our healthy meals, and fresh snacks are packed with nutritious ingredients that give children the energy and nutrients to grow and develop, be healthy and active, to move, work, play, think and learn.

Designed for Childcare
Our menus are created by Registered Dietitians and Red Seal chefs, with both children and child care staff in mind. We focus on meals that are nourishing, easy to serve, allergy-safe, and appealing to young eaters, so mealtimes feel smoother for educators and more enjoyable for children.
Meals are prepared in line with the Canada Food Guide, CCEYA, and Ontario public health guidelines, with options that respect dietary needs and lifestyle choices. We deliver meals on time and at proper temperatures, so centres can feel confident in what arrives at their door.

Allergen & Dietary Restriction Management
Allergy safety is a core part of how we operate. We work closely with centres to ensure meals and snacks are prepared with care for children’s individual dietary needs, helping centres and schools feel confident about what is being served each day.
Our allergen management program prepares replacement meals and snacks for over 100 different allergens, dietary needs, and lifestyle restrictions, including gluten, dairy, eggs, sesame, fish, vegetarian, halal, and vegan. Our facility is nut-free, pork-free, and shellfish-free, and our processes are designed to support safe preparation and handling.
Food Safety Commitment
When it comes to the children in your care, food safety is central to everything we do. At Wholesome Kids Catering, we are committed to a sustainable Food Safety and Quality Management System that guides how meals are prepared, handled, and delivered.
We are HACCP certified and maintain ongoing implementation, monitoring, and review of Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP plans. This approach focuses on prevention and consistency, helping protect children’s wellbeing and giving centres confidence that every meal is handled with care and accountability.
